This weekend was the SDSU Multicultural Conference! We are proud to have several members present that day. Topics that were presented included: Can historical trauma and racial trauma be assessed in diverse cross-cultural patients using the DSM-5?, Persistent Depressive Disorder in Women from College to Older adults: DSM-5 Implications, Diagnosis and Treatment for Trauma and Stress Related Disorders in Bisexual Women: DSM-5, Training Clinical Mental Health Counselors to use the DSM-5 in Work with Women Exposed to Military Sexual Assault: A Cross-Cultural Forensic Psychological Paradigm, and Gender and Cross-Cultural Issues in Using the DSM-5.
